Terms of Service

Effective September 14, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Roejin LLC ("Roejin", "we") for the AI Toolbox: the website at aitoolbox.roejin.com, the Community Ledger, the tools, and the software that runs on your computer (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, subscribing or using the Service, you agree to them. If you use the Service for a company, you agree on its behalf.

1. The Service

The AI Toolbox connects Claude Code (Anthropic's software, which you get and use under Anthropic's own terms) to the Community Ledger, a shared knowledge base, and to tools that run on your own computer. The AI Toolbox is made by Roejin; it is not made, endorsed or supported by Anthropic. You need your own Claude Code access and a computer that meets each tool's requirements.

2. Your account

You sign in with an email link or a passkey. Keep your email account and your devices secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. We don't keep your email address (only a one-way fingerprint that recognizes it when you sign in), so if you lose access to that email and have no passkey, contact us. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to subscribe.

3. Your license

A subscription gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service on as many computers at a time as the number of computers ("seats") you pay for. Your license key is for installing the AI Toolbox on those computers only.

4. Subscription, billing and taxes

The subscription costs US$14.99 a month per computer, plus applicable sales tax, billed monthly in advance in US dollars. Payments are processed by Helcim, our payment processor, which keeps your card and billing details; we never see or store your card number.

When you subscribe, your card is checked (without a charge) and saved at Helcim, and Helcim then charges your first month. Your access starts right away while that first charge processes; if it is declined, access stops until you subscribe with a card that works. After that Helcim charges your card automatically on the same day each month until you cancel.

Sales tax. We collect sales and similar taxes where we are required to. Helcim calculates them from the billing address you give at checkout and adds them to each charge; the tax appears on your receipt.

Computers. Added computers work right away and are billed from your next monthly charge; they can be removed after that charge. Removing computers lowers your next bill, and they stay usable until then.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from your next renewal after that, and you can cancel before it does. If a renewal payment fails, your access continues for 7 days while you update your card. After that your license is suspended until the payment succeeds; paying restores it.

5. Canceling

You can cancel any time on your account page. Canceling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for, then your license ends. Refunds are covered by our Refunds and Cancellation policy.

6. The Community Ledger and your contributions

When you or your Claude add or correct a ledger entry, it is shared with every AI Toolbox member and credited to the name on your account. You keep ownership of what you contribute, and you grant Roejin and all AI Toolbox members a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, copy, adapt, display and share it within and for the Service. Contributions stay in the ledger after your subscription ends.

Only contribute what you have the right to share. No confidential information, personal information about others, or material you don't have permission to publish. Contributions must follow Anthropic's Usage Policy: no offensive-security or attack content; defensive and secure-development notes are fine. Corrections must cite real sources. We may edit, correct, move or remove any entry.

7. Acceptable use

8. Software on your computer

The installer, updater, hook and tools run on your computer and change files there (for example your Claude Code settings; the installer keeps backups of what it changes). The Service updates this software automatically. Tools produce files, models and plans that you are responsible for checking before you rely on them. Keep your own backups.

9. Our content and ownership

The Service, the tools and their code are owned by Roejin or its licensors and are licensed, not sold. Tool code is delivered to your computer only to run; don't extract, keep or redistribute it. What you make with the tools is yours.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms (for example by sharing a license), if required by law, or to protect the Service or other members. Where it's reasonable we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we end the Service entirely, we'll refund the unused part of your current month.

11. Disclaimers

The Service and all ledger content are provided "as is" and "as available". Ledger entries are written by members and their AI assistants and may be wrong, out of date or incomplete; check anything important. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Roejin will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, and our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Roejin against claims arising from your contributions or from your breach of these terms.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email or on the website. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept them; if you don't agree, cancel before then.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
